I have been through all the stages of hair grief, denial: cutting my own ends with office scissors, anger: mad my hair won’t curl after I’ve been straightening it every other weekend, bargaining: using “better” products to “help” my damaged hair without cutting it, depression: feeling so uncomfortable and upset with the state of my hair that I refuse to wear it natural and finally acceptance: understanding I need to make a change in order to get the hair I want.
